Portfolio Analytics
Data without context is noise. This is the reporting layer — holdings, allocation against target, and the commentary that explains the difference.
What it is
The reporting layer. Your holdings, your current allocation against its target, your net worth over time, and a written explanation of what changed and why.
Data without context is noise. The point of this is not more numbers, it is fewer numbers that mean something.
What you get
- Holdings and allocation, per account or across everything
- Current allocation against target allocation, with the drift on each asset class
- Net worth over time, across six ranges from one month to all history
- A household risk score, and a concentration flag on any position above the threshold
- Written commentary from Hermes explaining the period, rather than an auto-generated summary
- Documents and reports in a shared vault, on web and on the phone
- Not real time
- The portal is a planning and reporting tool, not a trading screen. It shows no live prices, no order status and no real-time valuation. For live positions you log in to your own Interactive Brokers account.
- Manually maintained
- No Tanzanian bank can be linked automatically — the aggregation provider supports none of them. Local accounts are entered by hand and are as current as their last update.
- One currency
- Everything is reported in US dollars. The system has no currency field, so a shilling figure is a conversion at a dated rate held outside it.
